BUMI: FROM PERSONAL VALUES TO A BRAND

Within the minor Concept Academy I got the assignment to create a project, linked to my values and interests. From the interest in clothing and branding design I created Bumi: a stustainable clothing line concept. “Bumi” is derived from indonesian (translated “earth”) where my roots lie. The values of the brand concept lie in appreciating our mother earth, and seeing the beauty of life.

Infomation about this project:

The minor was very focused on self-development. Therefore, the biggest questions we dealt with were questions such as: who are you as a person? and as a designer, what do you stand for?  How do you look to the future? What is your dream project? 

From this I wanted to create a project that reflected on these questions. From there clothing concept “Bumi” was created. In wich I finally showcased in the form of 2 video animations shown below: 

Products produced to spread the vision. With the idea that Bumi clothing is made out of love (with sustainable products) , to spread love (with the message carrying it). To do good and evoke the beauty of life.
